BACK TO GROUPNEWS Exolon Group has signed an agreement to acquire the polycarbonate sheet business of Corplex (Kaysersberg / France), which operates under the AkyVer brand. The transaction is expected to close in mid-August 2025.
With the acquisition, Exolon Group is strengthening its polycarbonate multiwall sheet business. Going forward, these sheets and other sheet systems as well as panels will be produced at the site of Exolon Group S.p.A. in Nera Montoro, Italy.
The products, which will continue to be marketed under the AkyVer brand, perfectly complement Exolon Group’s existing range and are primarily used in the construction sector. With this acquisition, Exolon Group will strengthen its business as a medium-sized, highly flexible company with a strong customer focus.
For Corplex, the sale is in line with its strategic decision to focus on its core business: the extrusion of polypropylene sheets and their conversion into tailored applications that meet the evolving needs of its customers across logistics, industrial packaging and reusable transport solutions.
