Serafin Group acquires Jaisli-Xamax AG

The Serafin Group has acquired the electrical company Jaisli-Xamax AG. The acquisition became effective on September 23, 2026.

Jaisli-Xamax is one of the leading electrical companies in Switzerland and employs around 600 people at its sites in Dietikon, Basel, Bern and Zug. The company covers the entire value chain in the electrical installation business, from consulting and planning to installation through to service and maintenance, with a focus on electrical installation, building systems technology, switchgear, and photovoltaics and e-mobility. With this succession, Jaisli-Xamax enters the next chapter of a success story spanning almost 60 years. Jaisli-Xamax will remain independent and continue to operate under its existing brand and with its existing team.

Serafin pursues a long-term investment approach and will support Jaisli-Xamax with entrepreneurial experience and operational expertise as it continues its independent development. Rather than integration into new operating structures, the focus will be on further developing the company’s existing strengths and on targeted investments in building technology, digitalization and a site expansion, laying the groundwork for further growth and strengthening Jaisli-Xamax’s market position over the long term.

“When we acquired Jaisli-Xamax in October 2002 – my partners Markus Schmid, Kosta Vellidis, René Weidinger and I – it marked the beginning of an extraordinary entrepreneurial journey for us. For the company’s succession, it was important to us to find an owner who shares our values, thinks long-term and believes in the potential of Jaisli-Xamax. With Serafin, we have found that partner. I look forward to continuing to actively shape the next phase of growth as CEO and to take the next steps together with our team,” says Rolf Weber, CEO of Jaisli-Xamax.

Dr. Simon Brösamle, Managing Director of the Serafin Group, adds: “Jaisli-Xamax impresses us with its market position, its well-coordinated team and its many years of experience. We are pleased to accompany the company as a long-term partner on its growth path.”

The parties have agreed not to disclose the financial details of the transaction.
