Our factories in Germany, USA and China produce filaments for applications in the paper machine industry (PMC), the brush industry, for technical textiles as well as filaments for cosmetic and dental applications. Hahl Inc. is the growing US site of the Perlon® Group and is currently being enlarged significantly to establish new business segments. Expected growth in turnover until 2020 is about plus 50% versus current levels.



Development and Implementation of short- and medium-term improvement and optimization strategies in close alignment with Serafin operations director and Perlon® Group top management- Active operational support of value creation programs at the Lexington site, along the following    topics:

  • Implementation of group-wide standards for cost calculation
  • Improvement of production scheduling and planning
  • Working Capital optimization
  • Process optimization as first step towards the implementation of a new manufacturing execution system (MES)
  • Cost savings programs
  • Turnover increase

Close collaboration with all relevant global Perlon® stakeholders



Successfully completed university degree in business administration. Additional technical background is a plus

At least three years consulting experience (level senior consultant or project manager)

Additional work experience within mid-sized industrial company e.g. German “Mittelstand” for least 2 years

Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is a must, fluency in German is a plus

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills – efficient and goal driven work approach

Willingness to lead and take over responsibility

Hands-on mentality

Commitment to work in the U.S. for at least 2 years
